Iancu Jianu, haiducul (1981)

Together with Mereanu, Jianu plots to overthrow the Phanariot regime. Saved by Tincuta, who takes him as her husband, and forgiven, as the custom of the land and the people demand, Iancu cannot readjust to the boyar world and joins Tudor's gang.
