The Silver Horde (1920)

Young Easterner Boyd Emerson ventures to Alaska in order to make his fortune and win the girl of his dreams, Mildred Wayland, the daughter of wealthy Wall Street financier Wayne Wayland. Emerson joins forces with Big George Bolt and Cherry Malotté, who are fighting the trust led by Marsh for their share of the salmon catch known as "the silver horde." Marsh, backed by Wayland, attempts to sabotage the trio's efforts and then to frustrate Boyd's courtship of Mildred by fabricating a story that Boyd has fathered an illegitimate child. Marsh's efforts fail when the three partners corner the salmon market, and Boyd finally discovers that he loves Cherry more than the millionaire's daughter.
