Another Man's Shoes (1922)

Trying to avoid a gang conspiring to assassinate him, wealthy businessman Stuart Granger (Herbert Rawlinson) persuade his unsuspecting cousin, Jack Burton (Herbert Rawlinson), to impersonate him. Jack survives several attempts on his life, gradually realizes what is happening, he soon falls in love with Mercia Solano (Barbara Bedford), the leader of the gang. Meanwhile, Stuart is killed and Mercia is happy when she learn Jack's real identity.
