The Black Watch (1929)

As World War I erupts, Captain Donald King of the British Army's Black Watch regiment is sent to India on a top-secret mission to rescue imprisoned soldiers. While his comrades head to France, King's covert assignment leads to widespread belief that he is a coward. This perception deepens after he becomes involved in another officer's death, leaving King isolated and under suspicion as he works to fulfill his dangerous duty.
