Lucky Star (1929)

In 1917, as America enters World War I, Mary, a poor farm girl, finds herself drawn to two linemen, Tim and Martin. Tim enlists but is gravely injured on the battlefield, returning home confined to a wheelchair. Despite their deep connection, his disability makes it hard for him to express his love. Meanwhile, Martin, Tim's former sergeant, seeks to win Mary's heart through charm and manipulation.
