Champagne (1928)

Betty, a spoiled heiress, defies her wealthy father by pursuing a whirlwind romance with her boyfriend, Jean, against his wishes. She takes drastic steps, using her father’s airplane to meet Jean on a ship to France, sparking her father's anger. Determined to teach her a lesson, he pretends their fortune from the champagne business is lost. Stripped of her wealth, Betty must now face life's challenges penniless.
