Cyclone of the Range (1927)

Cowboy Tom Mackay, who takes a job on the Butler ranch, is out looking for an outlaw who murdered his brother. Tom falls in love with the rancher's daughter, Mollie, finding a rival in foreman Dakin, who attempts to get rid of Tom by alleging he is the notorious outlaw, the "Black Rider." Making a deal with the real Black Rider, Dakin attempts to frame Tom. Just as the crowd is about to lynch Tom, Dakin doublecrosses the Black Rider and receives a bullet for his efforts. The Black Rider is captured trying to escape. Satisfied that the Black Rider killed his brother, Tom settles down with Mollie.
