An indulgent father, a hair-brained flapper (played by Edna Murphy), a villainous owner of the local dive, and a newspaper editor (played by Bryant Washburn) enact this story of the younger generation. Suspecting something worthwhile beneath her blonde curls, the newspaperman falls in love with the girl and gets involved in some wild parties. The couple is lured into a roadhouse on the night of a long-expected raid, her father is killed, and the editor is convicted and sentenced to death in the electric chair. Through the girl's efforts, the governor grants a stay of execution, and all ends happily.
