Hounded by creditors, Doris Gray decides to marry a rich husband. With the aid of a friend, Billie Norton, she weds idler and spender Archie Wesson while he is drunk, only to find out that he, too, is broke. Unhappy in their marriage, they invite Flora Brookes to stay the night while her husband is out of town. James, Archie's ex-chauffeur, attempts to rob the house and frightens Flora, who summons Archie to her room. Doris and Billie discover them in a compromising situation, and Doris sues for divorce. For a sum of money, she promises Flora not to name her as co-respondent. Doris hires Flora's husband, Donald, as her attorney but unwittingly blurts out Flora's name as "The Unnamed Woman." In a rage, Donald demands that Flora explain; she tells him about the intruder, but he does not believe her. He then whips Archie in a fight, but the chauffeur arrives and confesses. Flora and Donald are reunited, and Doris and Archie decide to make a fresh start.
