Murder! (1930)

After actress Diana Baring is found dazed and bloodied beside her colleague Edna Druce’s murdered body, she is arrested and put on trial. Despite her claims of amnesia, circumstantial evidence and their known rivalry lead the jury to convict her. Sir John Menier, a famous actor serving as a juror, initially harbors doubts about her guilt but is pressured into voting "guilty." Haunted by his decision, Sir John begins his own investigation.
