Son of the Gods (1930)

The plot involves romantic adventures between white women and a man perceived to be Asian.

A man is flogged in public by his date who has discovered that he is of Asian descent. She repeatedly strikes him with her riding crop, at least once across the face causing a bloody mark.

Social alcohol consumption. One female character is implied to be abusing or at least overusing alcohol. No one is seen to be drunk.
