The Whole Town's Talking (1935)

Arthur Jones, a meek and mild office clerk, lives an uneventful life. But everything changes when he's mistaken for the infamous killer Mannion due to their uncanny resemblance. Arrested and later released with a special letter to prove his identity, Jones becomes a minor celebrity. However, Mannion sees an opportunity to exploit the situation, stealing the letter to move freely. Chaos ensues in a hilarious conflict of mixed identities.
