The Lost Patrol (1934)

A British patrol crossing the Mesopotamian desert in World War I loses its officer to a sniper’s bullet, leaving the sergeant in charge with no clear mission or destination. Hoping to rejoin their brigade, the remaining men head north and reach a desolate oasis. However, their respite is short-lived as unseen enemies pick them off methodically—sniping by day and infiltrating by night. The sergeant must pull through to keep his men alive.
