Susana, an orphaned girl, works at Doña Engracia boarding house as maid for all tasks. Although she has a hard life working all day long, she keeps a cheerful spirit that makes life easier for those around her, caring for a blind beggar and falling in love with handsome Felipe, who has also become Engracia's love interest.
