Furlough on Parole (1938)

In the fifth year of the Great War (1918) a battalion of 80 soldiers are granted six hours 'leave of honour' in Berlin as they await another train and yet another effort on the battlefield. We witness the lives of central characters reuniting with loved ones and city pleasures and dangers before rejoining the 'merry' life of the front to the chorus of 'Blud und Boden' on the rise.
