The daughter of a farmer falls in love with a simple miller's helper. Her father is not satisfied with the prospect, so he does not allow her to marry her lover. She later follows her parents' wishes and marries a wealthy older man. Time passes. What will happen when the mill worker returns and gets a job with the unsuspecting older man?
