Turned Out Nice Again (1941)

George Pearson, who works for an underwear firm that is 20 years out of date, invests his own money in a new type of thread. The company is not interested in changes, and he quits. Later, the firm discovers that the thread has revolutionized the garment industry, and they move quickly to re-hire before the opposition hear the news, and make him a better offer.
