Storyline:  In a fictional Latin American state where religion is banned, a fugitive priest evades authorities determined to eradicate Christianity. Sheltered by a faithful woman, he seeks escape to freedom, only to be betrayed by a police informer. On the run, he encounters other threats and struggles with his faith, questioning his calling as a priest. But his persecution will only inspire and bring a change to the country.
