Black Narcissus (1947)

A group of Anglican nuns, led by Sister Clodagh, is sent to establish a mission in a remote Himalayan palace. The harsh climate, cultural conflicts, and isolation push their resilience to the brink. As the nuns grapple with their harsh surroundings and strained relationships, tension escalates. Sister Ruth becomes dangerously infatuated with a local man, and Sister Clodagh’s past resurfaces, threatening the stability of their mission and their sanity.
