Beauty and the Beast (1946)

In a quiet village, a young woman named Belle cares for her father and dreams of more than her provincial life. When her father's journey leads him to a mysterious castle and incurs the wrath of its cursed inhabitant, a Beast, Belle selflessly offers to take his place. Initially terrified by the Beast's appearance, Belle soon discovers his kind heart and the enchanted castle's wonders. As Belle develops a bond with the Beast, outside forces conspire to tear them apart.
