Storyline:  Cluny Brown, an amateur plumber, is sent by her uncle to work as a servant at a country estate in England. There she befriends Adam Belinski, a witty Czech refugee, while also attracting the attention of shopkeeper Mr. Wilson. As Belinski grows fond of her, he tries to prevent Cluny from tying her future to a dull marriage with Wilson.
