The Eternal Chain (1952)

As the Legion Etrangère puts in at Napoli, legionnaire Walter escapes from the ship to meet a woman he still loves, in spite of his five years away from his home. When he first met her, she was his brother Carlo's fiancee. But it was love at first sight. Carlo thought she cheated on him with a shipowner whom he killed when that hateful man tried to abuse her sexually. Falsely accused of the crime by his brother, Walter thought the girl had committed the crime and he joined the Legion. After these five years, Walter meets again his brother, the woman and a child who is actually his. Will the truth come out?
