Winter Meeting (1948)

Spinster poetess Susan Grieve lives in a Manhattan apartment. One night, naval hero Slick Novak comes in with her for a nightcap. The next morning, they visit her Connecticut farm where he tells her he always wanted to be a priest. Who will ultimately win Novak's love: Susan or God?
