To Catch a Thief (1955)

Retired jewel thief John "The Cat" Robie is suspected by police in a string of burglaries on the French Riviera. To clear his name, he enlists an insurance man's help and befriends wealthy widow Jessie Stevens and her daughter Frances. And as suspicion falls on him after another robbery, Robie must race against time to catch the real culprit while navigating romantic entanglements and danger lurking from his past.
