Storyline:  In a German POW camp during the bleak winter of 1944, tensions run high among the American airmen after two prisoners are killed during a failed escape. Suspicion quickly falls on Sgt. Sefton, a cynical black marketeer who trades with the German guards for luxuries. The men accuse him of being a traitor, and mob justice leaves him beaten and isolated. To clear his name and survive, Sefton is forced to uncover the real informant.
