A polio victim during his childhood, strong-willed Luciano Tajoli works hard to fulfill his dream. The boy has an ear for music as well as a beautiful voice and is determined to become an opera singer. Unfortunately the handicap he suffers from following his illness won't allow him to attain this end. Nevertheless he will find success as a (very) popular singer and meet love in the arms of sweet and pretty Maria.
