The Diary of Anne Frank (1959)

In Nazi-occupied Amsterdam during World War II, the Frank family, along with the Van Daans and later a dentist named Dussel, goes into hiding to escape the increasing persecution of Jews. They live in a concealed attic above a spice factory, relying on the help of Mr. Kraler and Miep Gies for food and supplies. Over two years, Anne Frank documents their life in her diary, capturing the daily struggles, tensions, and hopes of the group.
