The 400 Blows (1959)

Inaugural film of the Antoine Doinel Trilogy and fundamental work of the French Nouvelle Vague that portrays the turbulent childhood of Antoine, a nonconformist and rebellious boy who wanders the streets of Paris in search of freedom. Between the incomprehension of adults and the first confrontations with maturity, the result is a portrait of youth, rebellion and the desire to escape from a world that does not seem made for him.
