The Birds (1963)

Melanie Daniels, a wealthy San Francisco socialite with a taste for mischief, meets lawyer Mitch Brenner in a pet shop, where he plays a prank on her. Determined to get back at him, she follows him to the quiet town of Bodega Bay, where he spends weekends with his mother Lydia and young sister Cathy. Upon her arrival, Melanie is attacked by a seagull, the first of many increasingly violent bird attacks that soon terrorize the entire town.
