The Innocents (1961)

A young governess, new to her position, finds herself isolated at a grand estate with two orphaned children. As she grows closer to the children, strange occurrences and ghostly apparitions begin to plague her. When she learns of a dark past involving the children’s previous caretakers, she becomes convinced that the spirits of these deceased individuals are controlling the children for sinister purposes.
