Kolorowe ponczochy (1960)

Anthology film about growing pains of girls in postwar Poland. In the first segment, unpopular Matylda longs for acceptance and better life, symbolized by the pair of colorful stockings. Second segment tells the story of poor Jadzka and her troublesome first days at a new school.
