Repulsion (1965)

Roman Polanski's Repulsion follows Carol Ledoux, a young manicurist who suffers from androphobia, a pathological fear of men. Carol lives with her sister London, who has an affair with a married man in her home, which aggravates her condition. Left alone for a few days, Carol isolates herself in her apartment and, immersed in loneliness and her obsessions, descends into madness.
