Red Desert (1964)

In an industrial Italian town, Giuliana grapples with haunting anxiety after a car accident. Her mental state deteriorates amidst the suffocating presence of the factory where her husband works. Her fragile grip on reality is further shaken by an affair with a visiting businessman, whose indifferent charm only deepens her isolation. As she drifts further from stability, Giuliana's desperate quest for solace leads her into unpredictable and unsettling encounters.
