Storm at the Lighthouse (1950)

Accustomed to living on their own in the isolated, windswept lighthouse, the grizzled keeper, Captain Bochalis, and his innocent young daughter, Chrysa, are both haunted by the memory of the same woman: Bochalis' estranged wife who has abandoned him, and Chrysa's unknown mother. Then, one day, Chrysa stumbles upon the weary castaway, Andreas Marelis, and as the father and daughter take him in, hidden family secrets come to light, and a timid romance starts to bloom. However, after twenty long years of his frivolous wife's absence, Bochalis still yearns for revenge, and Andreas is ready to make a shocking revelation.
