After having a brush with the law, happy-go-lucky Tamtakos, a streetwise greengrocer, realises he will never fulfil his aspiration to become a nobleman. However, luck works in mysterious ways. And when Tamtakos inherits the immense fortune of an unknown, long-lost relative, the sky is the limit. At last, Tamtakos can taste a hearty slice of the good life as a wealthy gentleman.
