Play, My Sweet Bouzouki (1965)

Perpetually sort of cash and already behind six months in the rent, the impecunious bosom buddies, Filippos and Nathanail, dream of striking it rich to wipe the slate clean and start afresh. Then, unexpectedly, the boys win 300,000 drachmas in the lottery, and on top of that, they have a chance encounter with the beautiful but equally poor best friends, Tatsi and Mitsi, who are brazenly posing as the daughters of an affluent shipowner. Now, for the first time in a long while, life is good, and the happy couples indulge themselves in all the pleasures they couldn't afford up until now, spending like a sailor on shore leave. However, what happens when the money runs out?
