City of Blood (1987)

Two African tribesmen walking through a forest are attacked and killed by a masked man wielding a spiked club. 2000 years later in South Africa, someone is murdering prostitutes with a spiked club, then painting pictures of a spiked fist with their blood. Medical examiner Joe Hendersen becomes obsessed with researching the murders, but the investigation suddenly faces opposition from his higher-ups. Just who is behind these killings, and what is their motive?
