The Punishment (1962)

Nadine, an eighteen-year-old high school student in her final year, arrives late for the philosophy lesson. As a punishment she is thrown out for the day. To kill the time, she starts wandering through the streets of Paris. At the Jardin du Luxembourg, she meets Jean-Claude, a geography student. At the Jardin des Plantes, she comes across Landry, an African friend. At last, while she finds herself on the banks of the Seine, she is accosted by Jean-Marc, a forty-year-old engineer. Each time, the subject is love, sex, male-female relationships.
