Demons of the South (1979)

Divorced, unemployed, father of two, François Marot is at the end of his tether. No longer able to control his inner demons, on the spur of the moment he heads south, stealing money as and where he can: starting with supermarkets, service stations. But gradually his hold-ups become more spectacular.
