In the Waves of Bosphorus (1934)

In the picturesque neighbourhood of Peran, Selim, a Turkish journalist, has arranged to take an interview from Eleni, the beautiful Greek owner of a luxurious barbershop. However, even though reporters tend to interfere a lot in the private lives of the interviewees, before long, Selim and Eleni fall in love. One night, she sneaks out of her room, under the nose of her family, to go dancing with Selim and his friend, Rousen, unbeknownst to her that her father is at the dancing hall. Are they meant to be together?
