I storgi (1965)

The insufferable guilt stemming from an unfortunate incident of domestic violence separates a once-successful constructor from his wife who suffers from a heart condition, and his two boys: Nikos and Grigoris. In the meantime, another father--the esteemed classical piano instructor, Kleopas Chatzigeorgiou--who chooses to live apart from his grown-up son for his desire to pursue a career as a songwriter, struggles to eke out a living. In both cases, the children are deprived of paternal love and affection. Will they ever taste the sweet excess of a father's tenderness?
