Gabros ap' ti Gastouni (1969)

From the verdant fields of peaceful Gastouni, Kitsos, the shepherd with the heart of gold, finds himself in bustling Athens, in search of a job. With his beloved fiancée, Asimo, waiting for Kitsos to set a wedding date, the impecunious countryman visits his affluent uncle and self-made businessman, Periklis, in high hopes of landing a job in one of his twenty-one souvlaki joints. However, as if things weren't complicated enough, Kitsos sets his sights on helping Periklis' love-smitten daughter, Ritsa--and on top of that--Asimo decides to check in on him. Will the groom from Gastouni find a better future in Athens?
