Cursed Generation (1962)

At the dawn of the twentieth century, proud Kotsos flees his feud-torn village in the rugged Mani Peninsula, searching for a fresh start in the mountains. Instead, guilt-ridden Kotsos meanders through dangerous, uncharted territory, and before long, a fateful encounter with a pair of murderous bandits cuts his journey short. As Kotsos has a chance encounter with compassionate Chryssavgi, the beautiful farmhand of spineless landowner Dimos Vlahavas, their whirlwind romance catches the eye of Dimos' vindictive daughter Haido and her strong-willed brother Liakos. Now, ungovernable passions take over, and a well-hidden, decades-old secret threatens Dimos' respected family. Will truth and love prevail?
