Sarakatsanos Woman (1959)

At the foot of Mount Helicon in Boeotia, Greece, a destructive, long-standing feud exists between the families of the wealthy chief-herders, Thanos Margonis and Stefos Tsekouras. Divided by a sparkling river and fierce hatred, the two sworn enemies are utterly unaware that their children, Stefos' only daughter, the statuesque Chrysa Tsekoura, and Thanos' handsome son, Drosos, have already exchanged vows of eternal devotion.
