It Was I Who Drew the Little Man (1960)

On September 1, a third grade boy Fedya Zaytsev came to school. On the school wall, he, forgetting himself, drew a little man with a piece of coal. When at the lesson the teacher asked who spoiled the clean wall, Fedya, afraid of punishment, said nothing. When the teacher asked the students to raise their hands, Fedya's friend, with whom he shook hands, without suspecting anything, raised his hand stained with coal and got caught.
