The Traitor Must Die (1970)

In the heart of World War II, the leader of an elite commando squad, Captain Nick, takes off with his men from the United Kingdom, heading to Greece. Intent on surprising Hartmann, a lily-livered German scientist whose research on a devastating new weapon is crucial for the outcome of the war, Nick's paratroopers begin to deploy, only to face a destructive artillery barrage. As the brave unit's sole survivor, gravely wounded Nick finds refuge in the mansion's dark shed, and before long, a late-night encounter with the scientist's beautiful wife will pave the way for an unexpected alliance, and a dangerous romance.
