With her young brother, Loulis, suffering from severe congenital heart disease, Rena, an affluent Athenian belle, arrives at a quiet and isolated village along with her aunt. Searching for peace of mind in the verdant haven, instead, the charming young lady will find herself entangled in the unwelcome romantic advances of the village's handsome doctor, Mr Kandis, who, right from the start, feels a surge of affection welling up inside him.
