Egataleipsi (1965)

During the devastating Greco-Italian War, Eleni, a compassionate volunteer nurse of the Greek Red Cross, decides to take in her family home the wounded and amnesiac soldier, Alexis. Surrounded by the German Army in Nazi-occupied Kastoria, an unforeseen but ardent relationship will bloom between them; however, the man Eleni is in love with remains a stranger. The doctors believe that a potent stimulus may help the traumatised Alexis regain memory, but in the meantime, Eleni's passion grows stronger.
