Anjan Hai Koyee (1969)

London-based Anand travels to Pili Kothi, India after he is told that his future bride Seema, who he has yet to meet, has met with an accident. Upon arrival, he is met by Sabhu, a driver, and en route to the residence is confronted by a Pagla, and witnesses a mysterious murder but is told that this is an unexplainable recurring event. Then he meets the wheelchair-bound Seema, her brother Suraj, her visiting friend Sandhya, a doctor, and various other characters. While Seema is displeased that he is being more attentive to Sandhya, he deduces that the doctor may have conspired to kill Seema and accordingly confronts him in everyone's presence. This confrontation will lead to allegations being made against him--allegations so serious that he might not only be compelled to leave, but he might also come under police scrutiny.
