Lady Hohenfels gives an evening party, but she is horrified when she notices that her precious diadem was gone. Detective Wilson is searching the apartment, and he finds pieces of broken nails next to the jewelry box. He suspects Countess' frequent guest, the light-minded Count Landau, who plays cards in the thousands, and who has extravagant lifestyle. His suspect is confirmed as the count's finger nail is broken. Dressed in a female dress Wilson observes the staff of the Countess. The next day dressed as a worker he follows a suspicious company, but they notice him, bound him and throw him into the water. He manages to escape with great difficulty. His hard work is finally successful. He finds the precious jewels, and a thrilling chase begins between the detective and the fleeing thief. The thief disguised as an Apache is none other than Count Landau, who is fleeing and jumping on a speeding train. To catch him up, Wilson hurries to the airport, boarding an airplane, and he arrives at the next station sooner than the train. So he manages to arrest the thief.
